She was totally overwhelmed and couldn't thank everyone as she was too busy busting some moves to the fab James who entertained us all afternoon. A fab day for all of our Hawthorn Inn Family. Rugby is back for 4 weekends starting with a warm up match between Babas v Wales being shown live at 2pm Sunday 28th at 3pm we have a singer in bar area to celebrate Beryl's 75th Birthday come along and help make it a wonderful day for her

Thank you to everyone yesterday for your lovely comments and support over us closing the kitchen 😍 We are back and ready to serve you but please be kind, patient and understanding as even after a bit of heat recovery it's still super hot today so your food may take a little longer than normal.... And the good news too is that the Karaoke is still on this evening in the bar area.. Happy weekend everybody 💞

Morning all... We have done a risk assessment this morning and have decided that we will have to close the kitchen today due to the extreme temperatures. We have no equipment switched on and the current indoor temperature is 32 so I dread to think what it would be like later Our staff are our main priority and even with the plan we had in place yesterday it was an intense day for them all. The bar will be open as usual Sorry for any inconvenience Craig, Jo and the fantastic team

Just a big thank you to all that joined us on Sunday.. I hope all the families enjoyed as much as we enjoyed looking after you.. We had a great atmosphere in the garden with the fab Spence Martin and then the lovely Ashleigh joining us straight from a gig down in Porthcawl.. Now for the weather 😉 as you all know the sun is upon us and it's going to get hotter over the next couple of days, at present we haven't changed anything but please be kind, patient and allow a little extra time for any food orders as our kitchen will now become a furnace and our staff will need regular breaks to cool down and hydrate. As always Craig and myself would like to give a big shoutout to our team who always give 100%
